☕ HANOI COFFEE CLASS – TOUR PROGRAM

1. WELCOME & ORIENTATION (15 minutes)

• Warm welcome by your coffee instructor at our cozy workshop.
• Short introduction to the story of Vietnamese coffee and the unique café culture of Hanoi.
• Enjoy a refreshing welcome drink while settling into the space.

2. JOURNEY INTO VIETNAMESE COFFEE BEANS (20 minutes)

• Explore Vietnam’s iconic coffee regions:

• Arabica – Cầu Đất (Đà Lạt)

• Robusta – Buôn Ma Thuột

• Specialty Arabica – Sơn La
  • Aroma discovery: guests smell and analyze roasted beans to understand dry fragrance.
  • Learn to distinguish light, medium, and dark roast profiles.

3. HANDS-ON WORKSHOP: BREWING WITH THE VIETNAMESE PHIN (30 minutes)

Craft your own traditional cup of Phin coffee from scratch:
• Choose your beans
• Weighing & grinding
• Adjust grind size
• Tamping techniques
• Master the art of controlled water pouring for perfect extraction

4. CREATE YOUR OWN HANOI EGG COFFEE (30–40 minutes)

• Hear the fascinating origin story of the legendary Giang Café Egg Coffee.
• Learn how to whip the iconic velvety egg foam using:

• Egg yolk

• Condensed milk

• Vanilla (plus traditional tips & secrets)
  • Hands-on session where each guest prepares their own Egg Coffee under expert guidance.

5. TASTING & CULTURAL INSIGHTS (20 minutes)

• Compare flavors between Phin Coffee and Egg Coffee.
• Listen to stories about Hanoi’s café heritage, hidden alley cafés, and local life.
• Open Q&A with the instructor for coffee lovers.

6. PHOTO MOMENTS & SMALL GIFTS (10 minutes)

• Capture your coffee-making experience.
• Receive a special little souvenir to remember the class.

7. FAREWELL

• Thank guests for joining and recommend the best cafés to visit during their Hanoi stay.
